When people hear about my ideas, they often ask me the following question:

“Have you written your Congressman?”

That certainly seems like the logical first step in effecting any kind of change in government. Unfortunately, my experiences have led me to believe that most of these letters are either not read or not taken seriously--they are simply lost in the shuffle.
