I haven't given up--I've been working harder than ever. Social Security reform doesn't exactly pay the bills, and in truth, it created some burdens that I was in no position to bear. So it's good that I'm strong as the day is long.

I haven't had the energy or inclination to do much writing lately... but I have been reading a lot, and one book that provided me with both insight and inspiration was the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin.

But for now, mine is the story of a man who set out trying to change the world, and ended up changing his life...
